E&O/Professional Liability

Miscellaneous professional is a broad category that encompasses miscellaneous errors & omissions (E&O) coverage and more specified coverage forms for skilled professionals. For more information on the specified professional coverage forms, please see the following:

Miscellaneous errors & omissions applies to nontraditional professions, and typically refers to vocations where licensing may not be required and formal study and performance standards are less rigorous than specialized professional liability. We offer coverage for these types of risks under a broad form policy with an A.M. Best A-rated non-admitted carrier.

Coverage Available:

  • In-house capacity to $2,000,000 with additional limits available
  • Minimum deductible of $1,000.
  • Defense outside the limits offered on some classes
  • Can be combined with GL under a package policy. Not available on all classes.

Key Underwriting/Qualifying Factors (including but not limited to):

  • Completed application for coverage with supplemental information as needed.
  • If new business, please provide resume of key principals for consideration.

In most cases, indications can be provided using any errors & omissions. Resumes, copy of their contract and claims/circumstance history for all errors & omissions related claims are critical to the underwriting process and should accompany an application.
